Woman with Pearl

The Woman with Pearl crystalline dish by Guerrino Tramonti shows his interpretation of lusterware, while creating some outstanding majolicas covered in thick glazes. Most of his designs have a simple color palette - yellow, red, white, and pale blue - a tribute to Guido Gambone, whom he considered to be the best ceramicist of his century. This dish reflects Tramonti's aesthetic signature with the use of crackle finishes.
